Rachel Waters is photographer and director currently based in Louisville, KY. Whether it’s solo or collaborating with a full team, Rachel prides herself in collaboration and inclusive work environments as she truly believes that innovation happens when we all come together.
Her passion for image making incorporates all facets of the photography industry; freelance, collaborative studio, and a hybrid of agency and in-house models. Her experience over the last 11 years has armed her with unique insights from the high demands within the industry through collaboration with art directors, designers, food stylists, production companies, brand teams, and marketing partners simultaneously. She is driven and motivated- which ignites a passion for creating impactful imagery that not only adheres to brand values, but builds upon it. Quick problem solving, innovative thinking, and a fun atmosphere on set are at the top of the list when it comes to working with Rachel and her team.
When Rachel is not on set shooting for a client, you can probably find her experimenting with alternative processing and printing in the studio. She also loves playing with her pup Mysa, traveling and meeting new people, making experimental cocktails with her partner, and porch sitting with a good book.
